Thanks to Ross Paton for the images.

A BIG BIG BIG "THANKS" to all who supported the Youth Club Quiz Night
It raised a total after costs of £80 79.

Special thanks to Dave Giblin for being quizmaster and organising the event and to people who donated raffle prizes. This money will help to boost the funds and help towards an outing of some description before the end of term.

Youth Club Leader

In 2008 in an attempt to utilise our resources more effectively we have split the youth club into an older and younger group with each meeting fortnightly instead of weekly. The age groups will be 10-12 and 13-16. Fees will be £3 per child annual fee with a £6 upper limit per family of 2 or more. Weekly sub will stay at £1.  The joining fee is useful in giving the club a boost at the beginning for trips and insurance which gets increasingly expensive although Youth Scotland do try to keep it reasonable.

We will be operating more of a rota system for helpers this year and Phoebe Marshall will be co-ordinating the younger group evenings while I will continue with the older ones.
Yvonne has decided to step back from youth club but will still help out. I big thank you to Yvonne for helping me over the last 5 years or so.
A recent important development has been the arrival of broadband internet access.  This should enhance the enjoyment of viewing information from around the world and is available, under supervision, to all club members.
