Auchencairn History Society
has a developing archive of photographs and postcards that show the village and surroundings in its historical glory.

The images of old postcards (bearing reference numbers) have been reproduced by kind permission of David Devereaux, Curator of The Stewartry Museum, Kirkcudbright.

High quality reproductions can be obtained by telephoning the Stewartry Museum on 01557 331643. Current prices are £2.50 for a copy scanned to A4 photographic paper or £3.50 to A3 photographic paper. Costs given include VAT with the addition, where appropriate of 50 pence for UK postage . Any use of images beyond personal interest i.e. publication, greetings cards etc would be subject to a £10 (inclusive of VAT) reproduction fee.
