The History Society includes in its archive several photographs of events from last year that are of course a historic record for future generations.

The 5th October saw the retirement of our long serving Postmistress Agnes McWilliam. She was replaced by Alison Parker who will take us forward into a new era as we prepare to build and occupy the new Enterprise Centre. Image

Once again the skies above the playing field were lit up by the magnificent 5th November bonfire and fireworks. The hard work of Ross Paton and his team of safety and catering volunteers was appreciated by a good crowd.

2006 saw the start of the Coffee Club meeting regularly for refreshments and a chat. They also got under way with planning a recipe book to sell to make funds for the new Enterprise Centre work.Image

The new Community Council was elected after a high turnout of villageers attended the Murray Hall to select 7 out of 8 possible candidates. Image
